These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sundowner (“Sundowner”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our website and membership directory of remote-work-ready stays.By accessing or using Sundowner, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Sundowner Is
Sundowner is a curated membership directory of remote-work-ready accommodations.
We are not a booking platform. We do not process bookings, payments between guests and hosts, or manage stays.
All bookings are made directly with hosts through their preferred booking channels.
2. Membership Access
Sundowner is available through a paid annual membership.
Your membership grants you:
- Access to our curated directory of stays
- Property-level information related to remote work suitability
Membership access is personal and non-transferable.
3. Payments & Billing
Membership fees are billed annually and processed securely via third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe).
Unless stated otherwise:
- Memberships renew automatically each year
- You will be notified before renewal
- You may cancel at any time through your account
- Cancelling your membership stops future renewals.
- You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
4. Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us and we will review your request.
5. Listings & Curation
All stays listed on Sundowner are independently curated based on our internal criteria at the time of review.
While we aim to ensure accuracy:
- We do not guarantee availability, pricing, or suitability
- Information is provided by hosts and third parties
- Conditions may change after a stay is listed
- Sundowner does not guarantee that a stay will meet every individual user’s expectations.
6. Host Relationships & Bookings
Any agreement, booking, or dispute is strictly between you and the host.
Sundowner:
- Is not a party to bookings
- Does not collect booking payments
- Is not responsible for cancellations, disputes, or damages
We encourage users to review host terms carefully before booking.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Sundowner only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Share your account with others
- Attempt to scrape or copy directory content
-Misuse or interfere with the platform
- Use the service in a way that harms Sundowner or other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on Sundowner — including branding, text, layout, and curation — is owned by Sundowner or used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sundowner is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for losses related to bookings or stays
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your current membership period
10. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.If material changes are made to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify members where appropriate.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
